Impending Low End Laser Printer War?
Ars Technica has a piece on Dell’s new $99 laser printer and the possibility that this will start a price war amongst the laser printer manufacturers. Some of the cheapest laser printers I’ve seen already hover around this price but Dell walking into the game changes everything. Just by the sheer volume alone that Dell does, this could really start bringing laser printers into more people’s homes as ink jets have already.
