Digital Camera Resource reviews the Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Plus Series 3, and concludes: “The Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Plus Series 3 (PD+s3) produced impressive 4 x 6″ photos with good color accuracy and excellent detail. And now that Kodak has managed to reduce the cost per print to under 30 cents, it’s a contender not only with other compact dye sub printers but compact ink jet printers. It retails for $179.”

The camera dock that can charge your camera’s batteries, run a slide show on your TV, and use the camera’s LCD to navigate the printing system makes this an easy sell if you’re also buying an EasyShare camera. But it’s also a compelling addition to your wireless network, providing a 4×6 photo printer to anyone on your network. And its small size and independent nature mean it can tag along with the camera (even an ordinary PictBridge-enabled one), not the computer.”
Pocket-lint reviews the Kodak EasyShare Series 3 Printer and thinks it’s a great printer if you have either a Kodak camera or a Bluetooth enabled phone: “If you’ve got a Kodak camera then it’s great. The ability to turn it into a docking station for your camera will certainly appeal to new digital camera users as will the ability to use the cameras LCD screen to preview images before you print.” Otherwise, you’re better off looking at another printer.
