Korean doctors perform heart surgery with robot arm
‘A team of Korean doctors has successfully completed heart-valve surgery on a female patient using a robot arm for the first time in the country, a Seoul hospital said Tuesday (Sept. 26).
The team led by Jang Byung-cheol, a cardiovascular professor at Yonsei University’s Severance Hospital, conducted the operation Thursday on the 37-year-old woman suffering from valvular heart disease, according to the hospital. ‘
