Robots have human facial expressions
‘Chinese robot specialists announced April 18 that after two years of research, they have used completely proprietary knowledge to successfully assemble the first made-in-China robot that can show human facial expressions.
Named “Story-Teller”, this robot is 35 centimeters tall and has a cartoonish appearance, with a uniquely fat nose, wise-looking wrinkles, extra-large ears, blonde hair and very lovable demeanor. Like humans, it can match its facial expressions, including movements of its mouth, limbs, head and neck to the particular story it is telling.’
