Belkin and XM Satellite Radio Announce Strategic Relationship
Belkin Corporation, the global leader in connectivity solutions, and XM Satellite Radio, the nation’s leading provider of satellite radio, announced a strategic relationship to produce and distribute a variety of Belkin accessories for new XM products.
Starting this fall, Belkin will offer accessories for the portable, handheld XM2go radios. Consumers can purchase Belkin vehicle kits, home kits, power chargers, antennas, and other products that work with the entire XM2go line of receivers from Delphi, Pioneer, and Tao.
XM and Belkin will also offer accessories for the upcoming Delphi XM RoadyXT satellite radio and the Audiovox Xpress radio, including a portable, rechargeable battery kit with headphones that works with both radios. Belkin will be distributing XM’s new Boombox for the RoadyXT and Xpress Plug and Play receivers, which will be available will be towards the end of this year.
These accessories are the first in a broad line of Belkin products designed to enhance the XM Satellite Radio listening experience. XM offers more than 150 channels of commercial-free music, including exclusive live concerts, and premier sports, news, talk, and entertainment programming.
