Yippee! For Tomkat fans, it looks like we’re going to get to see them on the big screen together! Word is out that they’re planning to both star in a movie called “Over to you” - a sweet romantic comedy.

Has Katie Holmes gone through a scientology detox ritual? Rumours are flying that the strange sores on Katie’s Holme’s face (some attributing them to a kissing rash even) are related to a scientology ritual of the vitamin Niacin which can cause red rashes.

A Scientology official said: “Whatever you see on her face has got nothing to do with us. It’s insulting that you would ask such a thing.�

Tom and Katie are in Naples for Mission Impossible filming this week.

Tom Cruise was obviously still feeling buoyed up by love as he and fiancée Katie Holmes took a boat ride in a Naples harbour.

Wearing superstar shades, Tom Cruise hopped up onto a platform in the stern of the luxury watercraft where he raised his arms in an enthusiastic greeting to photographers keeping a watchful lens on the popular couple. Katie hovered in the background with her arms outstretched, as though ready to catch the actor should the swell cause him to lose his balance.

Katie Holmes visited some orphaned kids in Rome at Casa Famiglia on the 18th of July, apparently Tom Cruise inspired her to go and make the trip. Katie said “I love children and heard about the orphanage in Rome and wanted to meet the children.” Katie played with the kids on the swings and took off her shoes. Aww, how cute! Wonder if she’s going to have kids with Tom or not?

Wow, Tom sure knows how to dine in style for his birthday! He apparently flew in chefs from around the world (!) for his 43rd birthday recently, to cook for him and guests on board a yacht in Italy. It reportedly cost him £10,000 for the meal.

Jessica Alba was interviewed on 18th July at the London premiere party of the new movie, “The Fantastic Four” and she popped in some comments about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. What do you think - was she too harsh?

“I don’t date actors and I don’t date people to get ahead in my career. I don’t want to comment on Tom’s relationship with Katie but I’m a private person and I don’t feel you should talk about your private life. I think it’s best to keep this sort of thing to yourself.”

Rumours are starting to fly that Katie Holmes will appear somewhere in her fiance’s new movie, Mission Impossible 3. The film began filming this month in Italy and is rumoured to also be filmed in China in November. With Katie Holmes tagging along behind Tom as he shoots the movie, it’s now looking more likely that she’ll have a bit part somewhere in the movie.

It’s meant to be top secret but apparently Mission Impossible 3 will shoot scenes from the final parts of the movie in Shanghai in November. I wonder if Katie Holmes will accompany Tom there too?

Even before they’ve tied the knot, people are speculating as to the length of their marriage and comparing them to other celebrity couples whose movies have benefitted from their publicity. Examples include Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz (Vanilla Sky), Jennifer Lopez and Ben Afflick (hmm, well, not sure if Jersey Girl was a success), Angelia Jolie and Brad Pitt (Mr and Mrs Smith). Only time will tell if this is a stunt or a marriage made in heaven.

Apparently Tom Cruise and Tobey Maguire are both wanting to buy Rob Lowe’s luxurious house in California. Tom wants to turn the $7 million property, located just a few doors up from talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, into a love nest for fiancee Katie Holmes.
