CommX VoIP Solution Wins Big Customer
CommX, the Tampa Bay-based provider of business-class broadband (DSL, cable, T1, etc.) voice services using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), has signed its largest customer since its inception over two years ago. Idlewild Baptist Church of Tampa will deploy CommX’s Hosted PBX solution to provide voice communications to Idlewild’s two church campuses.
The CommX Hosted PBX solution gives each church location and 100-plus staff members, robust communication capabilities supported by a single, highly flexible PBX platform - for a low monthly rate and no costly equipment requirements.
According to Idlewild’s Minister of Communications, Kevin Miller: “Communication plays an integral role in how we conduct ministry. CommX’s broadband voice services provide a great solution to our growing data and voice needs. The flexibility of their Hosted PBX solution fits nicely with our plans to relocate our church campus. Their services allow us to quickly and easily add and move users in the system allowing us to grow and flex as our staff growth necessitates. The total savings in the Hosted PBX environment is so advantageous that purchasing new standards-based IP handsets was an easy stewardship decision. CommX affords us the benefits of cutting edge technology without the liability of bleeding edge costs.”
CommX President Oscar Williams adds: “We’re honored by the trust Idlewild Baptist Church has placed in our people and company. We are excited and thankful for the opportunity to serve Idlewild with our broadband voice services. This is a significant milestone in our growth.”
