MV100 USB Internet speakerphones

This 4th of July, military families are receiving two MV100 USB Internet speakerphones so that they can make free long distance phone calls via the Internet. mVox Electronics, the maker of the MV100, is donating speakerphones through its True Freedom of Speech program which can be found at www.mvox.com.

The program offers 250 Armed Forces families two free portable USB speakerphones that work with Internet telephone applications such as Instant Messenger (IM) or Voice over IP (VoIP) software, allowing free long distance phone calls. Valued at $79.98 a pair, the phones will be shipped free of charge to the first 250 families that register and qualify on www.mvox.com today through July 4th, 2005.

The MV100s are high quality, portable USB speakerphones with DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology that can provide outstanding voice quality with echo cancellation, full duplex and noise suppression. Measuring the size of a credit card, the MV100 can be used with Internet telephony applications including Instant Messenger programs (i.e., AOL, MSN, and Yahoo!) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) software (i.e., Skype, Vonage, and Webex).

The MV100 retails for $39.99 per unit and can be found online at Amazon.com, Target.com, eCost.com, SharperImage.com and mVox.com. It is also being sold in Sharper Image retail stores. It will be available in Radio Shack stores across the country in late July 2005.
