Wireless VoIP Research
Qovia has teamed up with Maryland’s Industry Partnerships program to provide funding for research at Towson University into wireless VoIP.
Wireless IP networks are widely used both in enterprise settings as well as in remote locations e.g. airport terminals, sports stadiums and coffee bars. With the growing popularity of soft phones and other wireless IP telephony services, these networks are now starting to carry more voice traffic. This is creating a strong need to design monitoring and management software, protocols and tools that meet the specific needs of wireless IP telephony networks.
